We’re moving to 5015 Dodge!

Join us in creating something special for Omaha rescue cats.

After five years at our downtown location, Felius is moving to 5015 Dodge! This expanded space will empower us to fully realize our mission, allowing us to triple the number of cats we help annually and provide an even greater impact on feline welfare through new programs.

5015 Dodge will include:

  • Intake kennels so we can more effectively help cats in crisis.

  • Foster kennels for owners fleeing domestic violence.

  • Free cat supply pantry for those needing temporary support.

  • Educational workshops to empower more rescue advocates.

  • Larger, more accessible cat playroom for 2x annual adoptions.

  • 1:1 adoption room offering an intimate bonding experience.

  • Event room for rentals and group outings.

Move timeline

  • 3/27/24: Last day of operations for cafe at 522 S. 24th Street.

  • 4/02/24: New branding and website go live!

  • 6/31/24: Construction of Dundee facility complete.

  • Mid July: Grand opening! (will confirm date when construction is complete).

  • Yes, we will be honoring all existing gift cards at the new location (both online codes and physical cards).

  • Once construction is complete (ETA is May 1st), we will announce a final grand opening date and ma e reservations available online in advance.

  • Yes, nothing is currently changing regarding our membership program. If you want a refund for your April membership fee, please contact info@felius.org for assistance.

  • Our friends at Izzy’s Pizza Bus are launching their first brick-and-mortar store in our current cafe space. We are very excited for them and cannot wait to visit!

  • Absolutely! In fact, we will be expanding our volunteer program in the new location. Stay tuned for details!

  • Yes - you can see all open job listings at felius.org/jobs.

  • As we are on a short intake hold, we can recommend other amazing rescues that may be able to assist you during our transitional phase. Email info@felius.org for more information.

  • Yes - we will have increased capacity and will be offering private parties for up to 20 people at the new location. Once we announce a grand opening date, we can start taking reservations.

  • With our move to Dundee, we have partnered with a local coffee shop that will be take over all coffee bar operation. For coffee lovers, you will still have the ability purchase coffee from them and bring it into the cat playroom. Felius will pivot to selling cans of soda, juice, wine, beer, and more. Our coffee shop partnership announcement is coming soon!
