NOW HIRING:
Experienced Barista + Cat Playroom Deep Cleaner

HOURS: 15-25 per week
PAY: Starting at $17/hour + tips

SHIFT COVERAGE NEEDED:

  • Mondays required, but timing flexible.

  • Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 2-7:30PM

  • Thursdays & Sundays: 8:30AM-2PM

Felius is seeking an experienced Barista with a love for cats to join our team! In this role, you’ll craft espresso drinks, create an exceptional guest experience, and help keep our cat playroom sparkling during Monday deep cleans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages with care and consistency, maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Greet and check-in guests for cat playroom sessions and events, reviewing house rules.

  • Handle orders, answer phone calls, and provide outstanding customer service.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

  • Educate guests about Felius’ mission and the importance of cat rescue.

  • Support special cafe events (quiz nights, workshops, pop-ups, etc.).

  • Assist with Monday cat playroom deep cleans and general maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience is required.

  • Experience working with semi-automatic espresso machines is a huge plus.

  • Must be 19+ to work with animals and serve alcohol in Nebraska.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple guests during peak times.

  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn POS and reservation platforms.

  • Bonus: bartending experience and/or ServSafe certification.

  • Passion for animals and willingness to assist with Monday playroom deep cleans.
