Rescue Rangers Head to the Clinic

Dr. Kade, Owner of Completely Cat Clinic, showing our Rangers what is involved in a rescue exam. Felius kitty, Jorts, was the perfect model!

We're back with another Rescue Rangers update and this one was really cool.

Our second Rescue Rangers class visited Completely Cat Clinic for an experience that went way beyond the classroom. From the moment they walked through the door, these young animal lovers got a behind-the-scenes look at what it truly takes to care for cats at every level. From the rescue side of things all the way to the exam table.

The team at Completely Cat Clinic was so generous with their time, walking the kids through a full facility tour and helping them understand how veterinary medicine connects directly to the work we do here at Felius. Every cat that comes through our doors relies on dedicated vets and vet techs who know their stuff. This visit helped our Rangers start to see themselves as part of that bigger picture.

The highlights? There were a lot of them.

The kids got to explore the clinic's x-ray suite and learn how imaging helps diagnose what's going on inside a cat's body. They peered through microscopes hunting for parasites, and they watched a full general exam from start to finish, including learning how to find a cat's heartbeat.

Moments like these are exactly why we created the Rescue Rangers program. We want kids to walk away not just loving cats, but understanding them. Their needs, their health, and the community of people who show up for them every single day.

A huge thank you to Completely Cat Clinic for opening their doors and making this such an unforgettable experience. We are so grateful for partners who share our passion for cat welfare and community education.

Stay tuned! The Rescue Rangers are just getting started. 🐱
